"This is one of my favorite immigration art prints! There's just so much shame directed towards immigrants because of their migration. It's unfair. Most people migrate because they have to. It takes so much courage and strength to leave your homeland and go to a place, perhaps, completely unknown, in pursuit of a dream, to have a better life, to offer a better future for your children. That's beautiful and worthy of praise.
 
Although not all migration journeys are beautiful, sometimes it's quite the opposite, there's beauty in the strength, faith, resiliency of immigrants who do it. This piece is for them, for us, immigrants, who against all odds, are still standing and dreaming, holding on to our humanity."
