"This piece was created during one of the most difficult times in my life. It was while I was leaving the USA because it was no longer safe for me and my family. I felt like I was fleeing. 
 
This is a love letter to migrants—those who leave what they know to step into the unknown. The tigress represents strength and dignity; the monarch butterflies symbolize migration, transformation, and the journeys our communities take across borders. 'Migration is an Act of Courage' is a reminder that behind every headline or policy, there are real lives, real families, and real bravery. My hope is that this print hangs in homes, offices, and community spaces where people are organizing, healing, and honoring the courage it takes to move, survive, and begin again."
