"I painted this piece after moving to Mexico, where the colibrí has become a symbol of hope for me. These tiny birds are painted everywhere in the streets and feel like little messengers—appearing at just the right moment, reminding us to stay present, soft, and brave. The warm colors and folk-style shapes are inspired by Mexican textiles, sun, and everyday magic.
