Artist Note
"This piece was inspired by my consulting work with Latina elected officials and women navigating systems that were never designed for them. I kept thinking about what it takes to keep showing up in those spaces—leading, advocating, making decisions—while carrying histories of racism, sexism, and erasure. The tropical setting and rich earth tones are intentional: rooted in land, ancestry, and softness. 
 
The message 'My existence is resistance / Mi existencia es resistencia' is for anyone who has ever felt out of place in rooms of power and still chosen to stay. I hope this print lives in homes, offices, and community spaces where Black and Brown women are reclaiming their power, their visibility, and their rest."
